The Imaging and Mail Technician reports to the Corporate Services Records Manager. The main resposibilities for the role include performing routine, well-defined central imaging and mail center functions for company business; cross training as needed within the Services Department; and supporting departmental projects. This position will be a temporary, full-time role.

 

 

Location: The successful candidate will work at our Home Office in Enumclaw, WA (Must live within driving distance of our Home Office).

 

Imaging & Mail Technician

Hiring Range: $20.08 - $22.48*

Salary Range: $20.08 - $25.58

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Imaging:

  • Develop and apply knowledge of indexing Underwriting and Claims processing, production, and operational procedures.
  • Provide high-volume, timely scanning and distribution of confidential and/or high-priority documents.
  • Perform accurate, effective, and efficient data entry/indexing, and data validation, and utilize established quality control procedures.
  • Provide responsive, effective telephone & email support.
  • Store and shred hardcopy of scanned documents per the RIM retention schedule.
  • Provide Central Imaging administrative services involving the Company's records systems.
  • Locate missing documents, supporting documents, and data, matching with appropriate files and destinations.
  • Destroy claim files per the written date on the paper file.

Mail Room:

  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks involving the sorting of interdepartmental and incoming mail, delivery of shipments, special mailing assembly, and equipment operation.
  • Provide timely and accurate prepping, scanning, and processing of documents.
  • Operate Hasler inserter as required.
  • Print, assemble (sort & match checks) and meter documents for Print Fulfillment.

 


 

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Perform accurate, effective, and efficient prepping, scanning, data entry/indexing, data validation, and quality assurance.
  • Adhere to schedule and attendance requirements and exhibit reliable, dependable work habits.
  • Handling confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion and tact.
  • Proficient organizational and time-management skills; effective interpersonal, written/verbal/ listening communication skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products and imaging-related software programs.
  • Familiarity with insurance documentation, specifically Claims, Personal lines, and Commercial and Farm lines of business preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy while remaining flexible to meet business needs.
  • Effectively manage workload fluctuations while maintaining focus on Services quality and timely customer service.

Education and Experience:

  • 0-5+ years of applicable administrative experience.
  • High School Diploma.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees.
