We currently operate in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming and Montana.   The Associate Underwriter - Commercial Lines will report to the Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager and will work remotely. Must be located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming or Montana. This position will be responsible for the following:   - Perform technical/administrative tasks/services for Commercial Lines Underwriting. - Perform renewal business and endorsement underwriting within authority levels. - Administer file documentation and maintenance functions involving Agent/Policyholder communications and customer service. - Provide associated analytical and technical support according to established methods, industry, and Company standards. - Provide technical underwriting support involving rate quotations and risk/investigation report gathering/ analysis. - Implement workflow/process improvements, automation/ technology tools' development, and provide technical training as assigned. - Exhibit a thorough understanding of all Policy Services functions. - Support achievement of the business unit's profit and growth objectives. - Support and coordinate departmental projects involving the assigned area(s) of responsibility. - Cross-train to broaden insurance industry knowledge, develop Underwriting skills/capabilities, and knowledge of Policy Services and/or Product Development functions.   Potential Bonus 5%   Benefits include but are not limited to medical, dental, vision, cash balance and 401(k) plans with company match; life insurance; employee discount on personal insurance; wellness reimbursement program; paid parental leave and an annual bonus plan.

This role functions as the senior-most field sales professional, change agent and channel strategist.  The RSM is responsible for sustained profitable growth derived from independent agents. They will lead new business endeavors, profit strategies, develop annual sales growth strategies, review and leverage field analytics.  They will advise, train, mentor and partner with Independent Agents as well as internal staff.  They will be responsible to leverage agency compensation such as commissions, incentives, and profit sharing to increase profitable growth. RSM will be responsible become experts of Mutual of Enumclaw’s product offering.  They will also have a complete understanding of the competitions features and will have the ability to demonstrate Mutual of Enumclaw’s superior benefits.   This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales and acts as a liaison to all other departments and levels of management. Candidate must be located in the greater Portland, OR area or in SW Washington. This position is responsible for all programmatic and operational initiatives through the marketing automation platform (HubSpot), including creating, implementing, and improving best practices ensuring continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is technical, organized, results driven, has strong attention to detail and has a passion for digital technology and content applications and is certified in HubSpot Software and Inbound Marketing certification.    As newly created position, this role will take on a great variety of responsibilities, play a pivotal role in the company’s overall marketing efforts and have endless opportunities to learn and grow professionally.
